The processing time is an approximation, and starts with the government after successful submission of all relevant documents. Some provinces such as Nova Scotia, Newfoundland, Saskatchewan and Prince Edward Island may take longer time. We are a OneStop shop. You have options to add other services such as partnership agreement by our lawyer, CRA Business Number, HST account, Export Import Account, WCB, seal etc. (will be displayed in next steps)

The name MUST be in French. If in any other words, it must be translated into French correctly. The name MUST contain 2 components:
1. The generic or descriptive component: This is a word or group of words that describes the nature of business. It can be common French word.
2. The unique or distinctive component: this is the specific component, a word or group of words that clearly distinguishes one business from another. It should be unique or distinctive word. An Example: Quincaillerie Saint-Jean. 'Quincaillerie ' is the generic component, 'Saint-Jean' is unique component.

If your business involves with export or import, you need to register for it. The government of Canada uses the import/export account number to process your customs documents.

A partnership agreement must be made to open a bank account or obtain any license or permit. A lawyer should draft it including the responsibilities and duties of each partner.
